Escape to the Woods! Visit our Forest Cabin at Sinking Creek

in the Wild & Scenic Daniel Boone National Forest, London, Kentucky

The property sits atop forested ridges adjacent to the "Thrash Rock" a geological feature of historical interest. Local legend tells us this is where the ancient natives and local townsfolk threshed their grain. Prior to settlement, this area was an important visiting point for ancient nomads and was settled early 19th century. Locals say in the late 19th century this area was a busy small village on the road to Sinking Creek and the Rockcastle River. Old home foundations dot the landscape. This private studio home sits in the front corner of our 22 acres adjoining the Daniel Boone National Forest.  We have offered this cozy studio cabin as a vacation rental since 2016, we have loved living in the forest over these last decades! Please consider a visit, you will experience nature at its finest!
